Dr. James Chan was the first person commissioned by the American Management Association (AMA) of New York City in 1996 to create and lead a three-day course titled "Business Skills for the China Market."

The seminar was designed for executives, managers and technical professionals of Fortune 1000 companies. Dr. Chan taught the course at AMA facilities in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego and the AMA training center in Brussels, Belgium throughout 1997 and 1998.

Since 1998, Dr. Chan has served as an executive mentor for U.S. executives and as a coach for company managers and technical professionals in publicly-traded and privately-held companies. Such mentoring sessions range from executive briefings to workshops covering the following topics.
